Jeff Hoffman
Jeff Hoffman is the founder and CEO of Above the Clouds production company, producing feature films, documentaries, and TV. Jeff is a producer of the new documentary, Find Me, OK about the Israeli hostage Eden Yerushalmi. He was Executive Producer of Five Fingers for Marseilles in 2017, a South African neo-Western thriller that inspired Beyonce’s first Western music album, and was Executive Producer of A Fire Within in 2021, a documentary film following three Ethiopian women who, after surviving torture during the 1970’s Red Terror, flee to Atlanta, USA, only to discover their former interrogator is working in the same hotel. He was lead producer of the feature film LANSKY, referred to as “the Mob’s Accountant” in the mid 1900’s, starring Harvey Keitel and Sam Worthington which reached #1 on Amazon Prime in 2022, and co-produced What We Hide, starring Mckenna Grace, Jesse Williams and Dacre Montgomery, about two young sisters who hide their mother’s death from a drug overdose and try to pretend life is normal, until they can’t hide it any longer, currently trending on Amazon Prime in North America. Jeff is currently co-developing a TV series about Telegrass, the rise and fall of an online marijuana business, and a few feature films, including The Legend of the Brown Condor—the true story of a Black American pioneer pilot who rises against racism to become one of the first African American pilots and is recruited by Haille Sellasie to lead his fledgling Airforce of small planes to help defend Ethiopia against Mussolini’s invasion in the 1930’s.
